Dia De Los Muertos - Las Almas de La Calle

Dia De Los Muertos - Las Almas de La Calle is a cultural exhibition honoring the lives on the unsheltered community lost on the street, or do to being unsheltered or overtly criminalized, that looks at the unsheltered crisis through the lens of Dia De Los Muertos. It both owns the devastating reality (829 Houseless Resident Deaths 2020-2021 per SD Co. Med. Examiner) and partakes in cultural practices that honor the lives they lived and imagined them restored to full health and housed by the community.

The inaugural exhibition was hosted November 2nd, 3rd and 4th of 2022 at CTH.

The exhibition was free to the public (donations always welcome).
