The backbone of TEAM CTH has always been volunteerism. CTH’s current leadership team all began as volunteers and so we recognize that when we as a community come together, we truly are a Community Through Hope. We invite you to volunteer with us and spend your time in service in a safe space and know that the time you spend volunteering directly impacts the lives of the most vulnerable in our community.

Why would you like to volunteer at Community Through Hope?

Do you have any community service/court ordered service that you would like to complete at Community Through Hope? If so, what program is your community service attached to?

Volunteer Positions *

South Bay Street Medicine: Assembling snack bags, hygiene kits and packing items necessary for any climate/environment. Preparing hot meals and loading the vehicle for outreach.
Project Refresh: Setting canopies, tables, and chairs. Cleaning showers after every client and providing necessities we have available. Breaking down and cleaning up.
Hope Chest: Preparing for donation intake, followed by sorting through and organizing donations.
Warehouse Support: Organizing and cleaning the warehouse space. Assembling snack bags. (Must be able to lift up to 40LBS)
Office/Administrative Support: Front office organization and sanitation. Filing and sorting office documents. Assisting front office clientele.
Advocacy: Attend rallies, create/hold signs, sit-in council meetings, speak at council meetings, write-in for public comment and make phone calls.
Events (Weekends): Setting up/breaking down for any off-site events.
